Local officials sought to raise awareness Friday of a new state tax credit targeted at lower-income San Diegans.
The state adopted its own Earned Income Tax Credit to mirror the federal version in the current budget and Assembly Speaker Toni Atkins, D-San Diego, among others want to make sure those eligible are aware of it as the tax season commences.
